Trimfoot Foot Thong

Cut off the pad of your ballet shoe and rubber band it onto your foot and you have the Foot Thong.

Trimfoot Foot Thong
Ok, so the Foot Thong is a lot more comfortable than that, but you get the idea. It is minimalistic.

It is also one of the first models of modern dance shoes and I personally think there are now better options now.

This shoe would be good for those who have more sweaty feet (because the top of the foot is mostly uncovered) and who don't mind the feeling of skinny elastic between their toes.

Potential down sides? There is no continuous elastic around the arch of the foot. Meaning, the pad may or may not fit snuggly to the bottom of your foot. This may or may not drive you nuts, so it is up to you. I personally would go crazy.
