Discontinuing Capezio Aerial??

I have Danced on Arials for many many years. They are by far the most comfortable shoes for my feet. I heard a nasty rumour that Capezio was discontinuing the shoe. Is this true?

I have tried in vain to get another pair or two in my size but its not happening. I was persuaded to buy the new Aria. Just not the same. Vamp height is all wrong and the Shank feels weird.

Is there any chance to still get the Aerial pointe shoe in Vancouver Canada?

It took a long time to find anyone who knew anything! But, the official word is that it is a nasty rumor. Capezio plans to continue to make the Aerial. They will not be making the really, really small sizes (1 and 2) but I'm guessing that is not you.

Bad news? They are getting hard to find!

Now, as far as getting them in Vancouver... They aren't so keen on stocking Aerial's up there. I'd need your pointe shoe size to be able to get the details (maybe there is an issue at the factory), but thankfully, you do have another option.

You know what shoe you love and in what size and so you are a perfect candidate for ordering online. The best online company offering the Aerial is DanceDepot.com. Non of the big three have it... so I can see why the rumors are spreading.

The official word is that Aerial is not being discontinued. Something is going on though, so I will be keeping an eye on it...
