Can you customize colors for jazz shoes?

You can get jazz shoes in specific colors! They are, of course special orders, and that of course comes with special pricing...

Capezio is the only shoe maker that will custom color jazz shoes. Most of their CG (capezio gold) styles can be customized.

Capezio has a ton of color options (9 different colors of red and one that looks like snake skin!) but it is going to cost you. A base estimate is $150 per shoe. Ya. So it may or may not be worth it.

You would contact Capezio's flagship store or work through a local Capezio dealer to special order these jazz shoes.

You can also try dying them yourself. WardrobeSupplies and Tarrago have leather dyes that you can try.

Normal dyes like RIT don't work so well on leather and no matter what you use, test the dye first. Every dye expert will tell you that dying anything is not a guartenteed process, so proceed with caution!
